  • Bobby Parks

    Executive Spiritual Formation Officer John Houston Family of Companies Dallas, TX

    Bobby Parks currently serves as Executive Spiritual Formation Officer for the John Houston Family of Companies in Dallas, TX. Bobby’s chief role is to help each company carry out and achieve the mission to “reach people for Christ and give to the Kingdom” through a marketplace ministry context. He oversees outreach and mission efforts both locally and globally and the company’s ministry foundation. Bobby has mobilized and trained over 5,000 believers on short term mission trips that he has led and directed around the world in over 30 nations. Bobby is the founder of More Than a Game, a ministry that reaches refugee youth with Christ’s love through the sport of soccer (football). Bobby is married to his wife Brooke who works for the Voice of the Martyrs serving persecuted Christians around the world. Bobby and Brooke recently had their first child, Everett, and live in the Dallas, Texas area (Waxahachie).

What to expect

We will be meeting at the Parrie Haynes Ranch, 2419 Gann Branch Rd, Killeen Tx at 5 PM on Friday the twenty-first and concluding Saturday night. It’s a bit of a drive so make sure to check your travel time ahead!


Here are a few suggested items to pack.

  • Bedding: twin sheet, pillow, pillow case, comforter/blanket or sleeping bag
  • Sleepwear
  • Change of clothes - something that can potentially get dirty
  • Boots/Sturdy Shoes
  • Bible, journal, something to write with
  • Handgun (optional) - There is a handgun shooting range available. Bring your own weapon and ammunition.

Pay attention to the weather leading up to Friday and pack accordingly. We will be sleeping in cabins but a few of our activities will be outside so appropriate attire, footwear, and change of clothes is suggested.
